mid-late 2015 I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work on Chris Suns "Boar". A low budget horror movie about a massive rogue wild Boar that terrorises campers and screaming people.

It is in no way meant to be like Razorback...

What could have been...


Earlier this year we launched a Kickstarter campaign to expand our TrueSkate game into the Nextgen 4K market. The idea was awesome, take our hardcore skate title and make it the controller for a true 4k experience on console.

Socchi Mascots

Long, long time no post toward the latter half of 2013 I had the honour and privelage to be able to do some design, sculpting and prototyping work for Global Creatures here in West Melbourne. You ALL remember the winter Olympics last year right...? Well I was able to consult on the 3 massive robotic puppets from the opening and closing ceremonies. My primary design responsibility was the bear who lit and extinguished the torch. Also got to work with Stephen Schultz again who handled most of the design work for the Leopard and the Bunny.

Gadfly


Ive been doing a little more concept development work lately. took a 5 min thumb, did a rough form block in in maya to get the perspective right and then... pencils, pens, a little promak and back into photoshop for quick cleanup.

I haven't worked in pencil for some time, so lots of ground to make up. That said I think the forms are good, I will consider these to be concept development sketches. I must shout out to Mike Butkus whos work I've admired for some time.

A quick update on the Hind model. Starting to refine critical shapes and tweak the profile. I've also gone ahead with some hard surfacing on the head, hands and upper body armour.
