I haven't worked in pencil for some time, so lots of ground to make up. That said I think the forms are good, I will consider these to be concept development sketches. I must shout out to Mike Butkus whos work I've admired for some time.

A quick update on the Hind model. Starting to refine critical shapes and tweak the profile. I've also gone ahead with some hard surfacing on the head, hands and upper body armour.

A quick and somewhat rough colour treatment for a character  bust I'm building in zbrush.
Just a low investment model to test the hard surface modelling features in the package.

Quickly then, before I turn into a pumpkin

before bed, Thought I'd post this quick update.
Moved the BayHopper over to z-brush for detailing. I vaguely have this notion of having the thing 3D printed. Played around with masks to find a good way of panel detailing.

Yay, Got the okay to post (just the one view) of some character work I did for a company I worked for a few years back. Game res. Sculpted in zbrush, re-top'oed and textured.

I'm one of those folks who've always admired the Warhammer 40k IP from a distance, I've never played the tabletop game but I have painted the miniatures from time to time and I've always loved the aesthetic. I wanted to create something that might exist in that universe whilst exploring my own ideas.

For this, my other inspiration sources were The Expendables and Porco Rosso.
